Concept + experimentation
This work explores a new approach to car shopping designed to reduce complexity and surface faster delivery paths. As market pressure in Sweden creates flexibility to experiment, I’m leading the design of an offer-first car selection experience that prioritizes pre-configured vehicles, clear delivery timelines, and expert guidance over exhaustive configuration. Instead of starting with endless choices, customers are presented with curated variants—such as a good, better, best model for a long-range EX30—allowing them to move forward confidently while still retaining the ability to edit when needed.
The experience blends AI-assisted summaries, preference explanation, and designer-recommended configurations to help customers understand trade-offs, cost, and availability at a glance. Working closely with the Swedish market, this concept is being validated through user research and prepared for pilot launch, shaping a more human, narrative-driven path through a traditionally transactional system. A full end-to-end case study will be shared as experimentation concludes.
